Tamdhu \u00e8 una delle rare distillerie in Scozia che tuttora si occupa della trasformazione dell'orzo in malto per la produzione dei propri whisky. Gli straordinari aromi sono dovuti a un leggero uso della torba e alla maturazione in botti di sherry di rovere europeo, molte delle quali di primo riempimento. Perfetto sorseggiato liscio, accompagnato da un bicchiere di acqua fresca a parte, per permettere agli aromi di liberarsi in modo completo. Bello nel design, sar\u00e0 un regalo ideale per intenditori e appassionati.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tamdhu, che in lingua gaelica significa piccola collina scura, nasce a fine 800 sulle rive del fiume Spey, uno dei pi\u00f9 lunghi della Scozia, dove si trovano le pi\u00f9 importanti distillerie di malto. Sin dall’inizio ha puntato ad una altissima qualit\u00e0, producendo distillati per i pi\u00f9 prestigiosi blend di Scozia e anche un single malt, che per\u00f2 \u00e8 sempre rimasto un prodotto per pochi e selezionati intenditori. Dopo la chiusura nel 2010 la distilleria ha riaperto ed oggi, rinnovata nell’immagine, vive un periodo molto fortunato, stimata da un crescente numero di appassionati per la qualit\u00e0 eccezionale dei suoi distillati.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
